Today marked a significant milestone for LiverScan. As part of our staff training programme, Suzanne Walker from Echosens, the FibroScan® manufacturer, visited our new premises on Howe Street to conduct a special training session for 3 operators (Claire, Louise and Chris) in the use of the FibroScan device.

The FibroScan equipment is a cutting-edge medical device that uses sound waves to measure the concentration of liver fat and stiffness, which is helpful in diagnosing liver diseases including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). It’s a non-invasive and painless procedure that requires no needles or biopsies. Suzanne provided additional training in the setup, use, and maintenance of the device.

We learned a significant amount of tips and enhanced procedures and we are grateful to Suzanne for her and Echosens’s ongoing commitment to our business.
