LiverScan and Tawazun logos to announce new liver health partnership

New Partnership to Expand Liver Health Access Across the UK

Nationwide Collaboration to Tackle Liver Disease

Tawazun Health and LiverScan are proud to announce a groundbreaking liver health partnership. Aimed at transforming access to liver health diagnostics across the UK. This collaboration will bring together the complementary expertise and reach of both organisations.  We will deliver high-quality, non-invasive FibroScan® assessments from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. With established headquarters in London and Edinburgh, the two organisations will initially base operations in these cities. However, they will also expand their reach through a series of mobile and pop-up clinics across the country. Thereby ensuring liver health services are accessible to all, including underserved and remote communities.

With liver disease continuing to rise in prevalence across the UK, early detection and timely intervention are more vital than ever. By combining Tawazun Health’s commitment to holistic, integrated healthcare with LiverScan’s specialised experience in po-active liver health care, this partnership will significantly improve access to advanced liver assessments, especially in underserved and remote communities.

Leadership Voices from Both Organisations

“In working together, we can bridge the gaps in liver care delivery within the UK,” said Louise Campbell, Clinical Director at Tawazun Health. “Our shared mission is to ensure that everyone and all healthcare providers —regardless of location—has access to the tools they need for early liver disease detection and better health outcomes for their patients.”

The joint service offering will feature mobile and clinic-based FibroScan® services. Utilising state-of-the-art transient elastography technology to assess liver stiffness and fat content- key indicators of liver health. This non-invasive, rapid, and patient-friendly approach supports earlier diagnosis, improved disease monitoring, and timely lifestyle or medical interventions.

“LiverScan is excited to join forces with Tawazun Health,” said Claire Hardie, Chief Operations Officer at LiverScan. “This partnership allows us to scale our mission and ensure that no community is left behind when it comes to vital liver care.”

Tawazun Health and LiverScan actively support national liver health strategies. Together, they aim to play an integral role in the early identification and management of liver disease. By doing so, they will help reduce long-term healthcare burdens and improve outcomes for patients across the UK.
