A Workplace Opportunity to Take Action on Liver Health
At LiverScan, we’re proud to support World Hepatitis Day 2025, a global awareness event held annually on 28 July to raise awareness about viral hepatitis and the importance of early detection.
Hepatitis B and C are known as “silent” infections. In the early stages, they rarely present symptoms, and yet over time, they can lead to serious conditions including liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Millions of people in the UK may be living with undiagnosed liver damage—many of them in the workforce.
Liver health Screening
Our goal is to bring liver screening to the workplace. Why? Because it’s where most people spend a significant portion of their lives, and often where health risks can be identified early with the right support. Using non-invasive FibroScan® technology, our team provides 15-minute liver assessments at your office or site location.
Employees receive instant results that assess liver stiffness and fat levels—key indicators of inflammation, damage or early fibrosis. Where needed, we offer guidance on next steps, signposting to a GP or liver specialist if further investigation is advised.
Employee Wellness
By marking World Hepatitis Day, your organisation can take a practical step toward reducing health inequality and improving early diagnosis rates. Many of our workplace clients choose to combine screening events with internal awareness campaigns, liver health information packs or onsite talks about the lifestyle factors that affect liver health.
The benefits go beyond individual health. By investing in preventive screening, businesses can reduce long-term absence, improve productivity and demonstrate a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing.
LiverScan is available now for booking screening dates until the end of 2025. If you’d like to align your internal health and wellbeing activity with World Hepatitis Day, we’d be delighted to help.
