Client Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. Please pay particular attention to the terms in regards to charges and cancellations. Should you not accept these terms and conditions, please discontinue using our booking process system.

LiverScan may update these Terms, however changes to these Terms will only apply to any new bookings or packages purchased. Note that any new Terms will not apply to consultations booked before the date when the Terms are changed. You are responsible for checking the Terms and Conditions at the time of booking.

Online Booking System

LiverScan’s online consultation booking system is solely for the booking and registration of patient details.

If you book on behalf of another party, you are liable for the appointment in addition to the person on whose behalf the appointment is made.

Individuals (Self-referral)

At the point of booking a consultation or consultation package via the website, you will pay for your appointment in advance via the booking portal. You will receive a verification email to confirm your booking. Your confirmation email is part of your contract with LiverScan. You agree to check and ensure that your booking requests have been properly received and accepted by the LiverScan.

Your verification email will confirm the fixed price you have paid for your consultation or consultation package. It will also confirm the date and time of the appointment and details of how to amend your booking if required.

Cancellations

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice should you need to rebook or cancel your consultation. If we do not receive your request with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, we reserve the right not to refund the cost of your appointment. If you fail to attend your consultation, there will be no refund.

If for any reason, LiverScan need to cancel your appointment, you will receive a full refund or an option to rebook on an alternative date.

Other

By booking and paying for your consultation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Verification Email, these Terms will take precedence.

Notices and your contact details: It is important that you keep us updated of any changes in your contact details.

We do not accept clients who fall under the following categories:

  • Under the age of 18
  • Are pregnant
  • Those diagnosed with ascites, liver ulcers or gastric ulcers
  • Those with a pacemaker

LiverScan may transfer and assign your consultation to any person who acquires all or substantially all of the assets of LiverScan.

Third Party Rights: Except for you or LiverScan, no person will have any rights under or in connection with these Terms.

Law and the Courts: These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Scottish law.

Liability

LiverScan shall not be liable for any damages, loss or expense including without limitation, direct, indirect, special, or consequential damage, or economic loss arising from or in connection with: any access, use or the inability to access or use this website; any system, server or connection failure, error, omission, interruption, delay in transmission, or computer virus; and any use of or access to any other website linked to this website.
